Yarrow Features:
*Waistbands include mid or high rise encased elastic, mid or high rise contour, and the most popular, high rise secret shapewear.
*Mid or High Rise Contour Waistbands have the option to add a back zip pocket, back drop-in pocket, or back envelope pocket.
*Solid or side insert pants. Side insert includes optional side pocket with or without additional zip pockets.
*Leg lines include leggings, straight leg, or yoga. *Hem inseams include 2", 4", 6", and 8" shorts, 10" bermuda, 15" below knee, 18" capri, 25" above ankle, 28" pants, and 31" yoga/straight leg pants.
*Pattern includes an optional triangle back gusset.

Fabric Requirements
Contour and secret shapewear waistband fabrics require the same as the leggings body. Your fabric MUST have excellent recovery, or they will not stay up.
You may also choose to add a layer of power net/mesh, also sometimes known as techsheen, to your waistband for extra support/compression.
Measurements are in yards and based on 56” (142cm) wide fabric. Yardage assumes that your fabric has been prewashed and preshrunk. Extra fabric may be required for matching prints, directional fabric, or if you need to add length.

Optional: 1/4" (6-7mm) lightweight clear elastic (Mobilon or similar) for Contour and Secret Shapewear waistbands
1-2 yards of 1" (2.5cm) non-roll knit elastic for encased elastic waistband option
ZIPPERS: You need a small zipper so that the teeth and pull are small. Size 3 is very common. You can also search for 'doll clothes' zipper. You can absolutely shorten a zipper that is too long to fit.
5" (12.7cm) zipper for back waistband pocket zipper option
2" (5cm) and/or 3" (7.6cm) zipper for double side pocket zipper option: 2" zipper pouch only works for 6" shorts lengths and longer
1/8" yard/meter of lightweight fusible interfacing (such as SF101) OR woven fabric for either/both zipper options
WonderTape - optional, but will make your zippering loads easier
