Cypress features:
Short or long sleeves with long sleeve cuff option.
Top, Tunic, or Dress lengths.
Traditional kangaroo pocket with optional pocket binding for extra pop.
Crew, high scoop, and low scoop neckbands. Lined or Unlined hood. Cowl Turtleneck.
Finish by hemming or with a hem band.
Easy directions for modifying the front bodice for an FBA.

Fabric Requirements

This pattern requires a mid to heavy weight knit fabric with at least 15% horizontal stretch. French terry, heavier weight sweater knits, cotton lycra, stretch sweatshirt fabric, ponte and double knits are all good choices. If you are using a lightweight and/or stretchy knit (such as DBP), you may consider sizing down. If you are using a thicker and/or less stretchy knit (such as traditional sweatshirt fleece), you may consider sizing up.
Neckbands, hem bands and cuffs require a knit fabric with at least 50% stretch and excellent recovery. If you are making the cowl turtleneck, keep in mind that a drapey knit will fall into soft folds around the neckline, whereas a more structured knit will likely hold its vertical shape.

Measurements are in yards and based on 56” wide fabric. Yardage assumes that your fabric has been prewashed and preshrunk. Extra fabric may be required for matching prints, directional fabric, or if you need to add length.
