Welcome to the Pomme Skirt/Skort tester round-up! I originally wanted to have this skirt with the Fleur Top and Dress pattern, but realized quickly that it was a more complicated draft that deserved its own pattern and fan fare. Six months later...here we are!
You can grab your very own Pomme Petal Skirt or Skort pattern RIGHT HERE!
I originally designed it for knit, but THEN thought...omigoodness wouldn't this be cute in a woven?! So there are two versions - one for knit (stretch required) and one for knit OR woven (no stretch required). I added a simplified leggings pattern to make it a skirt option! I also updated the Foxglove Leggings and the Yarrow Yoga Pants and Leggings with a skort cut line so you can mix and match with all your favorite skirts!
My first skirt was a fun hodge podge of knits pulled from my 'too big to throw, too small to make anything' stash. This is a size 8 made from cotton lycra. I paired it with the Erica Ruffle Raglan top. I'm also wearing Yarrow shorties under both!

I then went on to make a size 12 out of upcycled men's button ups. The reason the size is larger is because I went by hip size so I could pull it up over my hips! This one was more challenging, getting all the pieces to fit on the limited yardage, but I LOVE how it turned out! Pomme is a great skirt to use cotton woven - so many pretty prints are available!
