Size Chart

Fabric Requirements

This pattern requires a light to mid weight knit fabric with 50% horizontal and 25% vertical stretch. Your fabric choice will influence how your final garment fits. A lighter, stretchier fabric (such as DBP) will be lighter and looser while a heavier, structured fabric (such as cotton spandex) will have a tighter and boxier fit.
Neckbands and cuffs require a knit fabric with at least 50% stretch and excellent recovery.
For the plackets you can choose to use a lightweight knit or woven. For knit plackets, consider the thickness before choosing your fabric. You're going to be doing some serious fabric origami and the placket will end up multiple layers thick. You will hate yourself if you use a bulky fabric here. For woven fabrics, the same consideration regarding fabric thickness applies. Another consideration, if you are making a full length placket, is the WOF/yardage needed due to the fact that wovens are often 42-44".

Measurements are in yards and based on 56” wide fabric. Yardage assumes that your fabric has been prewashed and preshrunk. Extra fabric may be required for matching prints, directional fabric, or if you need to add length.
