Size Chart

Fabric Requirements

This pattern requires a light to mid weight knit fabric with 50% horizontal and 50% vertical stretch. Your fabric choice will influence how your final garment fits. A lighter, stretchier fabric (such as DBP) will be lighter and looser while a heavier, structured fabric (such as cotton spandex or athletic fabric) will have a heavier and tighter fit.

Bands/bindings require a knit fabric with at least 50% stretch and excellent recovery.

If you are making the standalone bralette or adding a built-in bra, your fabric choice is very important for the level of support you are going for. If you want a bralette with a high level of support, you will want to choose a heavier weight fabric with a higher spandex content. You may also consider cutting a layer of power net or similar supportive fabric to sandwich in between layers.

Measurements are in yards and based on 56” wide fabric. Yardage assumes that your fabric has been prewashed and preshrunk. Extra fabric may be required for matching prints, directional fabric, or if you need to add length.
