Lyra SunTop & SunDress Tester Round-up!

Lyra SunTop & SunDress Tester Round-up!

The Lyra SunTop & SunDress was a labor of love to design. Generally speaking, I design a pattern, and then find just the right fabric. THIS time, it was the fabric that led the design. I knew what I wanted it to look like. Making that happen took months, and several samples to get it just right.

WORTH IT!

First things first! You can grab your very own copy of the Lyra SunTop & Sundress RIGHT HERE!

The fabric responsible for this glorious dress is a ITY from Amanda's Bundles. I used the white peached performance for my lining. I made a size 8 bodice, and then gathered the ENTIRE width of fabric to the waistband. In case you were wondering, that is approximately 120" of fabric, gathered to a 26" waistband. That is a LOT of gathering, my friends.

I made the most dramatic version possible. This is the lowest front and back necklines, and maxi length skirt. I used the split seam option, added pockets (of course), and the Goddess Detail on the strap was hand gathered and I added dragon buttons!
